Note 20 Ultra - wait or ?

Hi all

After the new release of the galaxy range with no expandable memory (Wtf?) I have to go back and look for the note 20 ultra range as my next upgrade (currently on note 8)

I plan to get the snapdragon edition, was wondering if i should wait for the price for the snapdragon version of note 20 ultra to go down (if they even do?) or find another android option thats equivalent to note 20 ultra (already have a work iphone so wont be switching lol)

And for those who are on Note 20 ultra - snapdragon edition, thoughts/feedback on your device - is it okay with 4g/5g etc?

Any feedback will be great - cheers.

Time to look at other non-Samsung branded phones me thinks… plenty of competition in the market.

S21 is definitely a fail release imho!

note 20 ultra snapdragon would mean grey import? don't think it'd be a good idea for a phone that costs that much

    • As long as the supplier is Australian and have warranty, I am not really fussed - I had grey imports in the past without any issues. Guess we just gotta find the right supplier lol

In a similar boat - was looking to upgrade from my Note 9 but cant see anything I'm interested in.
Might be time to look away from Samsung however my choice currently is the Samsung Note 20 Ultra but its not even worth upgrading from the N9

Miss the Snapdragon/dual SIM on Note 9. The best in Note series, imo.

      • I've got a Note 9 myself and I'm happy with the dual sim, but mine's definitely an Exynos one and it's time for an upgrade, but can't find anything to match it in terms of pen functionality and great screen + battery :(

        • So yours is not Australian stock?

          • @hawkeye93: I bought it off of Officeworks a couple of years ago, so it definitely should be!

  • What's the consensus with note9 or better killers this year or coming? I too have a N9 and am about to look elsewhere but am fairly underwhelmed currently…

I am also underwhelmed as well, it's like you'd expect battery life to be twice as longer as our older phones. Camera quality has upgraded but it's not like our current phones dont take good ones too lol

  • No charger too lol

    • For the new galaxy range? no way :o
