@banggood any chance for a deal on a 105+ Watt PD charger.. I’ve been on the hunt for one to full charge my 16” MacBook Pro and other stuff

    • +1

Do you have the product link?

      • +3

Ah damn.. bang good doesn’t really have anything.
Was considering saitechi or helpers labs 108W.
Unfortunately this one drops to 45W on C1 port when anything else is plugged in

        • most drop if multiple devices plugged in, they don't have AI to decide which device you want charged the quickest. If you want full power, only plug in main device.

What is nice about many ports is overnight plug in everything and it's charged by the morning, I do phone, vivoactive, ipad and laptop, sometimes also the speedo from my bike.

          • @garage sale: Saitechi one can hold 85W for the main port

Link doesn’t seem to work but found it on the Banggood app: https://banggood.app.link/JYPVdNkcmdb

    • Be sure to change to AU stock and charger

Got this charger last time. Damn its good!

  • Au warehouse sold out?

    • NO,if it shows USA warehouse for you,you can chose the AU warehouse.

  • +2

Does this mean it has Australian electrical certification?

    • +2

      Probably not.

  • Why is that when I applied the coupon (BG1BWS16AU) price goes from $45 AUD to $57 AUD ?

    • Chose AU warehouse

      • +1

        I did, that;s how I got $45.86 AUD

  • I bit. The cats keep destroying my chargers with integrated cables.

  • Does this charger support s21 ultra fast charge?

    • YES

      • It does not support Super Fast Changing

  • +1

Hi rep, can you please confirm if this charger support Huawei's SuperCharge Protocol? The item name includes "SCP" but the Fast Charging Protocols listed under the Specifications only include PD3.0/QC2.0/QC3.0/BC1.2 DCP/ Apple 2.4A/AFC/FCP.

    • +1

      Yes,it support SCP

      • +1

Thank you - I've bought this on the basis of your response.

        • Please report back if this is true. I'm on the lookout for a charger for my P30 Pro

          • +1

@j-rock: Bought one previously, using my Huawei A to C cable it quick charges my M20Pro, as opposed to super charging. I haven't tried C to C but it's sufficient for my needs.

            • @atomX: Thanks for taking the team to reply. I really appreciate it.

              Have a great day.

          • @j-rock: Just thought I'd send an update - this charger does NOT support Huawei's SuperCharge Protocol. I tried with both my genuine Huawei cable, as well as a 5A Orico cable (both of which support SCP and I use with my portable chargers) and SCP did not activate. I also tried plugging it into the wall socket and then a power board (not sure if this makes a difference haha) but SCP did not activate either time.

I can confirm atomX's comment below that the QC3.0 ports do Quick Charge, but I bought this for SCP. Already have two chargers that Quick Charge.

I've put through a refund request on Banggood. Interestingly, they've now updated the product name to remove SCP… Fingers crossed no games will need to be played.

  • I have this when first release no problem charging surface pro 7

  • Can I assume this will charge a Lenovo ThinkPad L13 Yoga Gen 1 ?
That uses 20V 3.25A, which looks like this covers?

  • +11

I'm going to use this opportunity to troubleshoot mine that I bought a while back…from banggood.
The product is okay, perhaps I received something faulty. But whenever I plug in more than one phone, the fast charging slows to regular charging on all devices. Moreover, for that 'switch' to occur, the power is momentarily cut to all devices, and then resumes. This has the side-effect of turning the screen on, which is quite irritating if you want the screen off, such as overnight.
Does anybody else have this problem, or do I just have a faulty one?

    • +7

Mine does this as well and it drives me insane. I just went back to using my Satechi instead.

    • +3

I get this issue too, particularly when it is on the edge of what i assume to be when it it on teh edge of needing to ramp down the QC ports to not exceed the total power limit, it keeps 'power cycling' the charging devices flipping from quick charge to standard and back, making all devices stop charging, the play the chargin sound and wake the screen.

Similar to your situation, im not sure if it is by 'design' or mine is faulty, but thats what it seems to be doing

Bonus extra annoyinace, this cycling appears to lock up my blitzwolf QI charging pad, i have to unplug, wait a bit, replug…

      • +3

Ok well that's good to know it's not just me. If this is a recurring issue, I'd seriously recommend against buying this product. If my gf wasn't so green I'd have landfilled this product long ago. Now I'm stuck with this for the rest of my life.

    • +2

Yeah, I have this issue too. Really dislike this unit, regretting buying two when they were last this cheap.

    • I bought the HyperJuice 100W charger on Kickstarter/Indiegogo and it does the same thing. They said it needs to recalculate the power distribution so that’s what happens, it resets the output of all ports every time you plug/unplug something in. It’s so damn annoying.

  • Anyone checked ? Does it really gives 65w from USB C port ?

    • +1

It seems to, but you'll probably need to unplug all the other ports, its not very smart at sharing power…

      • I bought same but unbranded as blitzwolf … i am using it to charge ideapad s540 13 … but when i run BatteryInfoView software, which is a small software and shows live power delivering , it shows only 24w instead of anywhere near 65w, cable i am using is this one … https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32996603804.html?spm=a2g0s.9….

        • +1

I dont think BatteryInfoView measures input power, only charge rate?

So the power listed in that app is limited by
          - what your laptop manufacturer decides the apropriate charge rate is (probably slow if batter is above 50%)
          - what your laptop is drawing to run it
          - losses in the chage, DC/DC circitary

Having said that,I dont have a USB PD meter, so my experience is based on it being able to charge a 1st Gen XPS with USB C, which is pretty picky with not accepting low power PD supplies.

The bigger issue is the charger will keep 'restarting' if you exceed one of the power limit combinations, of which thre are MANY.

          • +1

@Tigerhacker: Ahan .. you seems right as the original charger shows only 40 watts charging rate as well, instead of 65w that I was expecting.

I haven't faced the restart issue, I will try to load it fully and check again. Are you referring to this ?
            https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBAxZxXt0vM&feature=youtu.be…

            • +1

@ChipsChicky: Yep, thats pretty much it, if you hit the right combo, itll just keep 'rebooting' the charger, even if there technically should be enough power for the other ports, if you exceed one of the port combos, the whole charger resets, vs say shutting down 1 port which would be the more intuative thing to do.

    • I’ve checked mine with multiple meters and it will indeed give the full 65w

      • Can you refer some meter ?

  • Let's see whether we get it in a week

  • Does this support oneplus's dash charging?

  • Does this act as a hub too or is it just charging?

  • That toilet seat just went pew pew

  • Hoping to get a deal on the Satechi 75W as I've read bad reports of this blitzwolf killing devices and what not.

  • OP, can you recommend a good Charging Station for holding multiple devices with it, possible not Bamboo ones, as i suspect them to catch fire easily.

  • +11

Even with low load on this (eg no laptops, phones or ipads, just a watch / airpods / mouse etc) it sometimes just cuts out completely when something else is plugged in. Would strongly not recommend. Seems to really struggle and is also quite electrically noisy (affects some of my older wireless headphones).

    • +4

It affects my wired headphones too, if the amp is too clode, lol

Not sure how other people are using it, this charager always gets good upvotes on Ozbargain

Its usuable with care, but its certainly not a do it all charger as it first seems to be…

At $43 i guess you get what you pay for, the more polished products are more in the $60-80 range

These chargers suck. Had 2 broken in the last 6 months. Normal USB/USB-C work but the QC3 ports stop working after a few months. Never had issue with any other brand except Blitzwolf. Note: I've bought over 30+ USB chargers over the years for work/home.

  • Ordered one despite the negative comments(eg only one QC port working etc). Hopefully I don’t have two QC devices plugged in at the same time

  • Was about to buy this but negative comments made me think twice

  • canceled my order after seeing the reviews. hmmm..had blizwolf before…never had these weird issues mentioned tho.

  • does the toilet seat die just after 12 months like there other toilet seats… ? will give it a miss given past experiences and the amount of complaints.

  • Pity this new model is plagued with all these issues, they need to fix it urgently. I have an old model which has served extremely well the past 6+ years.

    • Yeah, this charger could be pretty good if a firmware (custom or otherwise) patch were possible, as it stands, its fiddly to use if you want to get anywhere near the maximum 75W, nobody wants to need to 'troubleshoot' a charger, thats just absurd

It's a shame since other blitzwolf gear seems well made, but I find the place most cheap electronics falls apart is in the software department, the hardware seems reasonable…

If only there were a usb charger enthusiast community, a la the flashlight community…

  • Looks like a terrible charger with bad reviews from bargainers, skipped.

  • I have one of these chargers and it sucks big time. It can't even run a Pi4 and charge a Samsung tablet together.

  • According to the official instructions, there are actually only 4 ports that can work.
Two USB-C, one QC3.0 and one standard port.
One of QC3.0 and standard port is decoration.

I personally feel disappointed for this product. If you only use two USB-C, one QC3.0 and one standard port.
Then this is a good product.

  • After reading the comments here, tried to cancel from the order.
Nope, they just sent the charger, even after talking with the live chat guy and me sending them a message.

    • I experienced the same! It’s ridiculous. I even got a cancellation email! I’m opening a dispute on PayPal. Will never buy from them again.

  • For anyone else looking for a USB C PD charger, after waiting for a good deal with satechi, I found this alternative:

Llamatec 90W USB Type-C Charger on Amazon for $52.24 with discount. While it is an integrated cable it is trivial to attach adapter's and one less plug is a good thing.

I still would like a nice USB charging hub but they are typically designed for many ports or high capacity, not generally both.

  • Can't support Samsung's Super Fast Charging although it says it supports PD3.0 and QC3.0

    • Mine didn't too, and it didn't work with Switch as well (I cannot use it for dock mode)
