Getting The Sony WH-1000XM4 Headphones for $293. Is There a "Catch"?

Thinking of getting a Sony WH-1000XM4.

Browsing through OzB history, most of the deals get above 75-100 upvotes even if the price comes down to only around $370. However, this deal brings it down to $345.60 and yet has just 20 upvotes and no comments. I got catch gift cards during the last PayPal deal(15% off) which brings down the effective price to around $293(lowest in history I could find).

So my question is, is there a reason why the Catch deal posted wasn't popular? Is there any negatives to getting it from Catch?

  You need a UNiDAYS student discount which majority of us cannot obtain so it's useless to us.

  Also not sure how reliable Catch are in providing Australian stock rather than possibly grey market imports.

    I do have access to Unidays.And as Morien pointed out its pretty easy to get a code. I bit the bullet and ordered it. Is there any way to identify if the item we got is an import? The site just says 12 month Manufacturer waranty.

      I guess you have received it by now. Catch deals don’t get much votes because it requires an extra step. People want discounts served on plates.
