It has more Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (4% w/w vs 3% w/w for both the coles and woolies ones). Otherwise the active ingredients are the same. Non-active ingredients differ a bit if you look at the TGA summaries.
The woolies one says to reapply every 1-2 hours, Cancer Council recommends every 2 hours on theirs. Not sure if that is a reflection on the product itself.
It's the best non-greasy sunscreen I've found that comes in 1L pump packs. Almost on par with the Cancer Council Active which only comes in 200ml pump packs for ~$14.
It also dries very quickly after applying so your hands don't stay slippery.
The non profit organisation behind it is also well worth supporting.
This is the best all-purpose sunscreen. It's water-resistant and not that greasy. I'm not saying it feels as good as those specialised face sunscreens but if you want to slap it on thick for a hot day, this is a good choice.
How long do these keep? I guess I could decant into smaller containers.
I last bought one from CW in October and the expiry date is 2023 (month has rubbed off). So about 4 years.
Thanks
Okay to use on kids or recommend the kid specific ones?
It's fine to use on children more than 6 months old. I wouldn't bother paying a premium for children-specific sunscreen unless they have very sensitive skin and have reacted to certain sunscreens before.
Any difference between the Work and the Normal Sunscreen ?
For Cancer Council their everyday sunscreen is 30+ and has different active ingredients. They have an Ultra 50+ which has the same active ingredients but it is much thicker and is not marketed as non-greasy.
Coming $29 for me?
Any difference between these and the Colesworth ones for $8.50?
