  • Can this be left inside the car and how often do they need to be recharged when they are not in use?

  • Is this a capacitor startor or a lead acid/something else? Yes as above, how long can it be left in the car without needing to be charged?

  • Can't comment on this particular one but have had an 800A Gooloo one off Amazon (think they market them as 1200A now) for a couple of years. Used it a heap of times to start my V8 that sits for ages until I got a CTEK for it. No issues at all, holds it's charge very well if you don't use it. Would probably be 6-12 months between charges. I'd say closer to a year but doesn't hurt to check it/top it up every couple of months.

If keeping it in the car, I'd put it in the boot with the spare wheel or something. Where it will stay as cool as possible. Wouldn't really recommend leaving it in the glovebox.

  • Seems to be the normal price on these units atm. Always having codes 🤔🤔

  • Can these be used to run 12v equipment like a air pump? Thinking of using it as a portable power supply to blow up SUPs etc.

  • Thanks, grabbed one… because my battery died today & needed to wait an hour for the NRMA!
