I just saw that the Costco Canberra warehouse has eleven of the iPhone 11 Pro Max 256 GB for $1,699 in stock.
It is $250 cheaper than the 12 Pro Max with 256GB ($1,949), not really a great deal, but the cheapest price so far it seems.

$1000 GC from Suncorp at 5% off = $950
$1000 GC of TCN via Shopback at 5% off (excl gst) = 955
$19 cash to make 2019 full price
$40 discount … Asked Jb hifi to price match Costco, which they refused but gave $40 discount.
2019 = (950 + 955 + 19) - 40 = $1884.
That's a lot of hardwork !
@cloudie9: Nope .. Suncorp GC takes 1 minute to buy from app hardly and appear within Suncorp app to be used in 2 minutes.
Same for TCN cards via Shopback and I selected option for Digital and they sent sms, which gave a link and cards were loaded in Samsung Pay like my usual debit card to be used as tap and pay
Talk to manager takes 3,4 minutes.
All in all, 10 to 15 minutes to save $135 (2019-1884) isn't bad.

When you buy it with credit card, it comes with all kinds of insurances (depending on the credit card of course). For example screen protection with Amex (unfortunately doesn't work at Costco), extended warranty, accidental damage or loss for x days, price protection, etc.,etc. Buying it at Costco has the advantage that you can return it for 90 days, no questions asked. All that adds some value, which to me is worth more than the $65 you save when buying it with gift cards.

I ain't sure how to do that but it shows final value $1980 i.e. $40 discount given by store manager. Rest of the discounts were via GCs as i posted above, so it won't come in invoice.
If save more $300+ it will good to buy than iPhone 12
