Getting JB Hi-Fi to Price Match Their Own Education Price for iPads

I have read a few people being able to get JB to match their education price for iPads.

Problem is I have a gift card and their education portal does not accept them. Have made a few calls and they all seem quite reluctant here in WA to match their own education price.

Any suggestions?

  whats the point of their education portal if they price match it with their retail store?

    Because you have an education code and wish to buy in their store instead of through their portal, or you have gift cards to use that you cannot do through the the education portal.

  Well it's just that.
  It's a store meant to be for students or eligible users.
  It's not meant to be a price match platform.
