Just want to let people know that its possible to get an ipad 2 (16GB wifi only) from Myer today only for effectively $479.

I purchased mine from Myer chadstone and they still had quite a few ipads left across the whole range. Chadstone are open till 9pm today and this is the last day you can get this particular discount.
So this is how it works. David Jones have $50 off any ipad this weekend. Myer will (should) match this price which brings down the price to $529. Then you purchase a $500 Myer gift card (which can be done at the time of the ipad purchase) which entitles you to a free additional $50 Myer gift card. You then use your $550 credit to purchase the ipad and you get a gift card with $21 credit remaining. I then purchase a set of belkin screen protectors which cost me $14.95. So still some credit left in my pocket. I hope some of you have the change to take up this offer. There is still time.
