Ok 2012 is not far away and I planning for the big one my number one priority - Dark Knight Rises in IMAX!
Its only going to be shown in true IMAX at Sydney and Melboune.
Anyone rate the two cinemas, I been to Sydney but not Melbourne, I assume Melbourne is neiwsh and therefore better, Sydney pretty old now?

IMAX Sydney may be old but then old =/= crap in the cinema world. As long as the screen is still up to scratch with state of the art projectors and comfy chairs (all of which are upgradeable as necessary when then they get old and outdated) it's still good. Sydney still has the biggest screen in the world and that's all that matters really, that and the sound. Who cares if the building itself is old, everything else is refurbished on a regular basis.
