          For some reason, AliExpress occasionally selects a more expensive shipping option. If you click on the shipping price, you should be able to change the shipping method from AliExpress Standard Shipping (AU$5.27) to Cainiao Super Economy Global (AU$0.65).

            @chrisl123: Cainiao is a fake shipping website in my experience. Spam websites use it to show fake tracking information that never arrives. In a month of time, that fake website gets shutdown.

      The name sounds offputting but all my recent AliExpress orders are taking about 4 weeks to arrive. It's essentially replaced China Post that was resulting in packages taking over 3 months.

      I honestly don't understand how it costs $0.38 to ship something from china but it costs $1.10 to send a letter and ~$10 to post a parcel within Australia.

        China get a subsidy for being a "Developing Nation".

        They used to get the cost of packages sent to Australia etc. 100% subsidised, but Trump got tough and they lost that; that's why all the Ali Express/eBay/Banggood deals stopped having free postage.

          I'm not sure if it's the same company. I can confirm it's a fake shipping company becuase I faced it. The website that I purchased an item from was fake and lasted only one month.

            @flame143: I am usually guided by feedback. Essager has been around for a couple of years and plenty of positive feedback. Not a lot else one can do. Buying from any of these overseas places always carries a small risk especially with shipping. Either way I personally have not had any issues and touch wood remains that way. No major loss though being only a few dollars.

              So even if the store sends it, the shipping company might lose it in transit then it s you versus the shipping company when they indicate that they delivered it, WITHOUT getting a signature

          This is very important to point out to new people.

          I only got into the magnetic cable phase a year ago - it changed my life as I use lots of different devices, so I stocked up only to find the single pin one does not do data. So get the one with multiple pins!

    Kind of inefficient if we only buy 1 cable and 1 plug.
    What if we have multiple devices (the cable useless without plug, we need the normal cable)

      thats why you need multiple plug tips to combine into single cable, from Android microUSB to Mac, to USB-C

      Amazon has them for $13-15 with 3 tips

        Yeah but wish it was 3 x say microUSB tips (and not one of each) included to use on multiple devices i.e. just leave the tips plugged in to devices. Having one of each i.e. USB-C and MAC is pointless for those that don't use anything MAC or have USB C devices.

                          I bought these on Amazon for $14 with 3x tips and a bullet carry case for the tips

                          So the voucher and a few tips that you want is still good value
