  • Hi Op, just wondering if you have any long life White wine for sale? Thanks

    • Lol making wine sound like milk.

If you're thinking of cellaring white wine - I would look at Riesling or Chardonnay

      • I am looking a white wine for cooking, i just can't use the whole bottle in 1 to 3 days

          Cask wine?

          • @lakes_8: Do they last long? Casks

            • +3

@Yaren24: Once opened, they last weeks or even months. (I recommend keeping them in the refrigerator.)

Sounds like a 2L cask would be ideal for your use case (especially if you also drink the occasional glass 😉).

Just use a cheap dry white for cooking. No point wasting money on the more premium stuff.

Go to Dan's/Aldi and look for something under $8/bottle

Get some wine in a can - https://brewquets.com.au/blogs/news/wine-in-a-can-australia-…

I'm still making my way through this previous ozb deal - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/549280 - 48 cans for $35 delivered. Not a fan of the wine but it has been perfect for cooking, 1 cup per can!

        • Of course! Forgot all about the new(ish) wine-in-a-can.

  • Good Deal picket up 6 x st Hallet and 6 x Burge Cab Sav total was $211 (ave $17.58 per bottle) after $40 promo credit and $20 sign up credit
