  • This might be a better deal if you want 2 bulbs with a hub

    https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Philips-Hue-White-Starter-Kit-A6…

    • +1

Philips Hue Bulb is Zigbee bulb that requires a Hue Bridge to work.

This Philips Wiz bulb is a Wifi bulb that works directly with Wiz App, no hub is required.

  • Ohh yep didn't realise that! Cheers

Regardless, both work equally well anyway :)

  • Haven't heard of these.

Are they more reliable than LIFX?

    • Its a Genuine Philips Lighting product, it should be as reliable as LIFX.

      • LIFX were terrible in terms of reliability, so I was rather hoping these weren't

  • do you sell any smart filament bulb?

    • Nop, filament bulbs are usually not smart, there are smart Edison LED bulbs that look like Filament bulbs.

If you already heave Filament bulb, the only way to make them smart is to install smart Light Switch or Smart Dimmer.

      • thank you.

  • Why would anyone get this when Kogan are selling 4 bulbs for $30 RGBW or about $26 for just white/warm white tunable?

    • Kogan bulbs does not work with motion sensors and remote controllers like the Philips Wiz

      • They work with other Tuya devices which means probably 10 times more devices than Philips

  • Bunnings sells a range of these, Some are on clearance and not listed on their website. But considering most are around $30 each hard to see how a $50 bulb from this deal is a good buy.
