Do you mean https://www.marvel.com/?
Are DC fans better than Marvel fans ???
Installed a few on these on the weekend. Super easy to do. Really quiet motor with plenty of air movement. Nice controller with 6 speed settings, 3 colour light them with dimmer. Come. In both black and white. Wooded blades and sure hang mount that works in angles ceilings https://www.bunnings.com.au/arlec-130cm-4-blade-black-dc-ceiā¦
Is that really dimming, or just changing the colour temperature? Colour temperature is bright white to yellowish candle style light, whereas dimming would be keeping the same colour but reducing the amount/intensity of that colour of light?
I am looking for a fan/light that offers dimming plus colour temperature control ..
Take a look at the Arlec units at Bunnings for approx $168. OOPs I see it has already been linked above.
Colour change and dimmer on the remote. From the link provided:
Dimmable No
It appears to just be colour change not dimming looking at the manual in this you tube review https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZv6BlnJIp4
The question was about the arlec and its tricolour with individual dimming. Also have added it to broadlink link with Google home integration for voice control. Need to do a custom remote learning on all its functions. Haven't finished all the options for it, there is quiet alot via the included remote
@DoesntEvenMatter: Must say it was a little confusing when you start your reply with "installed a few of these on the weekend" then go on to talk about a totally different product to what was posted.
Actual dimming of the 3 colours
The Bunnings fan you linked looks ugly and cheaply made.
Damn tell us what you really think.
Looks alot better than the OPs and you define build quality through a picture. Seems like a solid and informative opinion. Wish I had your supervison
Are you sure you installed this fan, these have ABS blades not wood?
Think he/she means installed the Bunnings fans. They have wooden blades.
Despite some average reviews, will give this a go and report back.
Arrived within 3 business days… so far so good…
Hi, have you installed it yet? Just wanted to know how they are if you have?
Is that better than the Marvel one?
