  • Is this a good quality card? I'd be keen to buy this if it is.

    • Class 10s are still a bit iffy on smartphones (droids/wp7) etc. Otherwise Lexar should be fairly good.

      • What do you mean by iffy? :(

I'm not sure I need a Class 10 or even 32GB on my phone at the moment. Any recommended 16GB cards?

        • there seems to be quite a few negative feedback regarding class 10s in general. Its seems to be very device specific, so just be aware of a potential issue and try to confirm class 10s are fine on your device.

      • I was not aware of this as I'm new to the expandable memory smart phones (ex iphone user) Class 4 would be the recommendation for smart phones then?

      • Any idea if they're fine in tablets? I have a class 4 that I'll put in my SGS2 if this one would be fine in my Iconia. Thanks :)

Class 10 cards are good for high speed sequential read and write, that is where you are continuously reading or writing a lot of data in one chunk. This would suit a HD video camera or digital camera where you might want to copy large amounts of sequential data off at the same time.

A class 4 (or 6) card has faster random reads and writes and is more suited to tablets and phones.
