Got the Chromebook Duet for $312.80, tablet and laptop replacement for family member. Can't be beaten!
Another vote for the Duet. Very good value if you're after the detachable/tablet form factor. For the traditional clamshell or 2-in-1 form factor, either the Flex 5 or the Asus Flip for me.
I bought a Flex 5 from that deal, but it was a tough decision.
I felt the Flex had a better keyboard, considerably better processor and a more comfortable size for light officework. It has front-facing speakers which is a bonus too.
The Duet had the appeal of being more compact with detachable screen (which I regret not having instantly after sitting down with the Flex 5 on my lap), and a much brighter screen. The 128GB internal storage is great compared to the standard 64GB at this price point, but it's not expandable, and there's a lack of ports - just a solitary USB-C shared with the power supply and headphones - I just felt, at first, this was going to be an obstacle for transferring and sharing files.
By comparison, the Flex 5 has an abundance of ports.
