Suggest Best Phone and High End Plan for $130/Mo

My employer will reimburse up to $130/mo for mobile phone. I can even go up to $150 by paying $20 out of pocket if required.
What is the best phone and high end plan I can get? I f I get some reward points or cashback or gift cards that would be awesome.

I am long time Samsung phone user, currently on a S8 with Boost. Thinking about getting the new S21 as my first choice. I like Telstra coverage but will go with Optus as I need some free international calls included in the plan which I don't think Telstra offers. But let me know if Telstra has better offer and how to get it as a Boost customer.

I am also tempted by the iPhone 12 Pro, there are some Optus offers from Harvey Norman but I don't think I can bundle the phone.

  • I use WW Mobile so I am biased and suggest them. My reason is they have low SIM component (min $25/mth) and you can maximise the rest of $105/mth on the phone.

    No S21, but has S20 https://mobile.woolworths.com.au/Brands/Samsung/Samsung-Gala…

They also have the flip on $110/mth over 3 years… But personally don't go higher than 2 years.

The disadvantage at the moment is they are not on Telstra 5G network. They are only on Telstra 4G wholesale network

Tiny joining cashback via cashrewards/shopback, which I could stack with referral code. tiny ROI

Do they cover handset repayments? Mine only covers the 'service' component so I went with one of the JB offers. There doesn't seem to be any telcos that bundle the phone under the service plan anymore.

  • Hi Oz Bargain Community.
I'm in a similar situation with my employer. Can anyone confirm if their telco provides one bill that has both their service component and the payments broken out per month? I am tempted by the JB Hi-Fi offer but will consider Optus or Voda if their bill is set up in a way for me to submit one invoice to my employer to claim the monthly charge (up to $120 per month sorta thing.

    Cheers
