Was looking for a new USB C Hub for my MS Surface Book as the one I got from Amazon is a bit stuffed and also too small. Came across this unique hub at Kogan with a built in QI charger. Being a Kogan First member the price seems to be reasonable for what you get. Biggest downside is 4K at 30hz but for office work it should be good enough for me especially given the price. Handles 60W PD charging.
[Kogan First] Kogan 7-in-1 USB C Hub with 4k@30hz HDMI + Qi Wireless Charger $29.99 Delivered ($39.99+Del Standard) @ Kogan

Maybe it was just a misunderstanding between you, you know a communication issue?
you probably sent the "customer servo" home with a headache trying to read your email?
I agree Kogan are the last place I go to for anything because of poor customer experience issues I've had with them in the past. But I think they're getting slightly better. I just cross my fingers and hope I have no need to get in touch with customer service
No ethernet unfortunately.
$20 more for ethernet - https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-8-1-type-c-data-pd-hub-gi…
Shows 75 to me
must have bumped up.. gees
this could be handy if someone wants to add extra storage on chromecast with google tv
but does it work with chromecast?
I've tried a number of USB-C hubs without success.
I bought the anker 7 in 1 with ethernet and it is good if you buy a beefier powersupply.
I will let you know how this one goes using the standard google supplied power supply.this was useless for chromecast… it would reboot on standard chromecast supply and a bigger power supply that I have.
It is just a glorified wireless charger
Does this work as a samsung dex usb hub?
I'll let you know once I get it. Most of them do, at least the two different USB C hubs I have already do work with Dex. The only issue may be monitor resolution support if you have anything more than 1080p.
The description is a little confusing, bullets points on the listing are different to the text below it.
Is the wireless charging 10W or 60W?Pretty sure wireless charging doesn't go to 60W just yet :)
It's 10W wireless charging (on compatible devices). 60W is the PD via USB-C provided your power supply is at least 60W PD.
Aaa, thanks ..
10W seems a little low after checking out a few Google searches.
4k@30Hz? That's painful. Even for just browsing.
I think it's 60hz at 2k which is good enough for me. Don't have a 4k monitor
Tried to find any source for 2k specifically bit most of usb c hub spec just mention either 1080 or 4k
Dogs hit goods and poor customer servo rom my pas experience
