PSA: Free Delivery on C&C Item @ Kmart if Chosen Store Is Out of Stock

I believe this is recent, as I've never seen it before, but I discovered it recently and it was very handy!

If you order an item online that's showing in-stock @ Kmart, through Click & Collect, and the chosen store doesn't actually have stock, they'll check local stores for it and deliver it for free. Happened recently and the store it came from was across town

What happens if items in my Click & Collect order are out of stock?
Sometimes, items in your Click & Collect order maybe out of stock at your selected store. As we don’t want you to miss out, we’ll look for more stock. Depending on your preferences at checkout, we’ll either

Deliver the missing item(s) to your address at no additional cost, if we can locate them, or deliver *them.
Or
Refund, including the $3 service fee if applicable.

*due to its type, some item(s) are not suited for delivery.

    Oh that would be good.

    I have a basket with three things in it and it’s just telling me that they’re not all available at my local store

    Unfortunately, some items are not available for Click & Collect. Please remove unavailable items or update quantity to proceed.

    The nearest with all 3 is 25km away.

      Yeah this is for if they're showing stock, but then can't find it in store (issues with stocktaking, theft etc affecting numbers)

        So typically when Kmart shows low stock, most of the time it means the store doesn't have it would this thing still work?

          Guess there's a difference with "in stock" with X number available, and "low stock". Generally I thought low stock won't let you actually order it online, says to call the store?

    Damn would've come in handy when I wanted to purchase a few items that weren't in stock at my local store. Now those items have been removed from Kmart
