I was wondering if anyone had any more ways to get discounts at petrol stations. At the moment, I know of the list below. Feel free to add.

      Yes, but it's not all liberty servos, and not just liberty either. For example, Mobil recently took over some local liberty stations, and the drake's discounts remain. Liberty rebuilt nearby, but these ones do not have the discount.

    Owning a helicopter tends to help with fuel locks.

      posting in classifieds for a lock uses less fuel than a chopper.

    EG fuel app gives additional 5c off at Woolworths petrol

      Hi singinwolf. I just signed up. To me, it looks like the 5c is for the first fill only. Is that right? It ialso gave an expiry of July 12, 2021. Following that, I can't see anywhere where it says you get 4c/L, only that if you link your Woolies Rewards, and spent $30 at Woolies or $5 instore at EG/Caltex, you then get 4c/L.

          If you were to fill up right now, would you have a voucher there? Or is it now depending on whether you've spent $30 at Woolies in the last 28 days? Im just trying to work out whether the 4c/L is always there or you need to do something to get iy.

    There is the AFL/AFLW Shell/Shell Coles Express/Viva Energy 5 cents off per litre
    when Geelong AFL or Geelong AFLW Win. Excludes LPG.

    $5 instore at either Caltex Woolworths or Coles Shell Express for 4c off - I know it stacks at Caltex Woolworths with the Woolworths $30 spend 4c off. Those with a Woolworths staff discount card (Woolworths, Big W, BWS, etc) don't have to spend $30 at Woolies and have unlimited 4c off.

    Metco Petroleum has 4c off with a competitor's 4c off voucher (only seems to work with Coles since it's on a docket) - I'm not sure if they have locations outside of Toowoomba.

    Mobil has slowly started popping up around QLD and they have been consistently cheaper than others. Not a "discount" but definitely work checking out on fuel price comparison when looking for cheap fuel.

    I was able to get the PUMA discount from a promo my local was doing it. They don't advertise it anymore, so I'm not sure if you could still get it, but worth an ask or maybe someone else can add in on that.

    Fuel vouchers earned at Woolworths when spending $30+ in one transaction give you a 6c/L discount at Tasmanian Caltex Woolworths fuel stations, not 4c/L. The terms and conditions state you need to earn the fuel voucher at a Tasmanian Woolworths supermarket, but I suspect you can use fuel vouchers earned at mainland Woolworths supermarkets to get the 6c/L at a Tasmanian fuel station…

    Granted, at some Tasmanian Caltex stations that accept Woolworths fuel vouchers, you only have to show your Everyday Rewards card and you get the 6c/L discount, regardless whether you have any fuel vouchers associated with your account. They don’t scan your barcode, they only record your membership number on a copy of your receipt…

    At United fuel stations in Tasmania, you get 6c/L when you show your RACT membership card.

    I usually use Cole… BUT… you do realise, they JACK UP their prices, so effectively, you are paying much more.

    Why spend $20 in store for rubbish food, simply in order to procure 4c discount.

    Caltex Star Card gives 5% discount for fuel. You need to pre-purchase the egiftcard ( I buy egiftcard for no fee through having AAMI insurance). If you go to a Caltex that also has Woolworths Rewards sign, you get both the woolies $0.04c off, then 5% off balance using Star Card to pay…

    Nightowl members - 4 cents off if they scan the app / card (I've only tried in WA though).

    Service at AHG also get AHG Fuel card which gives 4 cents off for 6 months at Shell Coles Express.

    It should be noted unmanned fuel site (OPT) do not accept fuel discount.

    Was unaware of the NRMA discount for caltex and ampol. I notice on their map that not all caltex servos are shown, it looks like maybe the ones that take a Woolworths discount aren't included?

    Don't bother here in Adelaide with loyalty discounts anymore. Just use Petrol Buddy that was made by a developer here on OB (https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/546123). Saving 20c a litre can make a real difference when you're stuck on a fuel that never changes in price (LPG).

    There is a My caltex app that gives introductory 6c/l on first 3 fills and then 4c/l on an additional fill (if you link rewards card), but this is only applicable at certain pumps with pay at pump
