How many hours is this game roughly in length?

    • 12 hours for core game and 3 hour for each of the two expansions. https://howlongtobeat.com/game?id=57507

      • +1

I'm not sure about that. It took me 42 hours to beat everything. Doing most of the sidequests, but not all the lore/research.

      • +1

Not sure why you got down voted… Your link provides a good idea on how long the average person would take to complete the game, rush through the game, or 100% the game.

Tbh I never 100% any game, all I want to do is play the main story have a good time finish it and move onto the next game, who has time to spend tens or hundreds of ours in games trying to collect every little stupid thing?

          • +2

@itsHughesy: I wish I had your ability to do the same. My backlog is enormous but just about every game I play I feel compelled to get all collectibles/trophies etc.

            • @Shaun Prawn: Oh yeah no I have hundreds of games etc. across platforms that I've either not finished at all, or not even started, I don't let the backlog thing get to me lol

  • +4

Depends how invested you are. I finished the game and both DLCs earlier this week…I did nearly everything ( all achievements bar 3..collectibles and hidden rooms).

Took me roughly 20 hours I'd say…really enjoyed it, but wouldn't play through again.

Is this the updated version where they fixed the bugs, or the older version they still are selling that still has the bugs? I have the older version through Gamepass and dialogue in cutscenes disappears after a few hours, leaving you guessing what just happened and where to go next.

It sounds like you lack control

    • This is the updated version.

Try quitting the game right during the conversation when the bug happens. Hope it helps.

      • I read this 3 times today and the first 2 times i thought it was a sarcastic comment about quitting the game until i read it the third time….

  • Great game, fairly easy platinum as well.

Honestly, all versions should be upgraded for free!

    • +1

      Agreed.

I would even be ok with paying for an upgrade like $10 at most. But the fact they want you to buy the whole game again just to play the next gen version is ridiculous. If I had not purchased the season pass previously then I could justify spending the $30 on the ultimate edition. But I'm not spending another $30 just for the next gen upgrade.

Would be nice. But not all Devs will do it. It's like buying a film on DVD and getting a free upgrade to Blu-ray, not going to happen

  • Finally

  • Take control!!

  • This is an excellent game

  • +1

If you have a ps5 then plan to play after Feb when the upgrade is expected to be launched.

    • +1

This. Upgrade is expected on 02/02/2021.

      • I have only the standard edition. What are the odds of them going "stuff it, we'll give the standard edition a free upgrade too"?

        • This is what I am hoping for too… I don't think a lot of people would have purchased the whole game a second time just to get the upgrade.

          • +1

@Shaun Prawn: This happened for MK11 - they announced they would upgrade the Ultimate edition. And it turned out that I upgraded my standard ed for free too! So here's to hoping!

All that for a 30fps game. I’ll skip that. Good find though.

    • PS5 upgrade will give 60fps if that's your desire, or 30fps with raytracing.
