Some Stats:
The 9,000,000th comment was on July 15, 2020. The 8,000,000th comment was on Nov 22, 2019. The 7,000,000th comment was on Feb 27, 2019. The 6,000,000th comment was on May 31, 2018. The 5,000,000th comment was on August 23, 2017. The 4,000,000th comment was only on September 16, 2016. The 3,000,000th comment was in Aug 2015. The 2,000,000th comment was in May 2014. The 1,000,000th comment was in Aug 2012.

- 1 guess per user made as a comment in this thread.
- You must give the date of when the comment is made (e.g. 22/1/21) and the time in AEDT (2:49PM).
- The closest guess wins.
- The 10,000,000th comment must be published. E.G. If it's spam and removed, we will count the next published comment so 10,000,001.

I feel like I should do some math and actually working out the date properly
but it's 8:26am and I can't be bothered
We are currently 70,615 comments off 10m. Since 23:34 on the 8th there have been 11,447 comments and in that time 4880 minutes have elapsed.
This gives us an average of 2.34 comments a minute.

02/02/2021 at 7:51AMThere are some things which I haven't factored in such as people are still on holidays therefore less traffic. Maybe less bargains overall recently? Haven't seen many insanely popular deals in the past 4 days such as the Dell 27" or Xiami Ultrawide.
I'm going to revise my guess to the 28th of January at 3:23pm.
Interesting, I did a similar mechanic where I averaged the difference between the comments of the last four days, divided it to get an average day count and then used algorithmic means to forecast 1 million.
I got just under 17 days.Of course, a much more simplified version because it's 8:30pm and I cbf lol but better than a wild stab I hope
