Where is the cheapest CANON 60D or NIKKON D7000 or similar level cameras?

Hi.

I'm looking to buy a CANON 60D, preferablly a NIKKON D7000.

At the moment the cheapest I found for the CANON 60D was on Kogan: http://www.kogan.com.au/shop/canon-eos-60d-kit-single-lens-1…

and the NIKKON D7000 at for $1531: http://www.quikshop.com.au/nikon-d7000-digital-dslr-camera-b…

I'm looking for ones with Australian warranty, not grays, as I can claim back the GST when I'm going overseas.

  • The nikon you listed isnt covered by Australian warranty, its grey stock

    i got mine from here

    http://www.digitalfunstuff.com.au/

for the d7000 with 18-105, i think its going to cost about 1600ish for aust stock.

I have read quite alot of reviews about the d7000, 18-105 lens kit and alot of people are saying that the 18-105 performance on the D7000 isnt that good.

might be worth considering getting the body and just buying a decent second hand lens from the money you save

    hope this helps :)

  • if you dont mind secondhand will save you a lot of money, such as people who pick up a d7000 and lenses and realise photography is not for them, you can get it for a steal :) especially since the newer model (d800) will be released anytime now.

  • d800 is going to be the upgraded version of the d700 which is a full frame semi-pro/pro camera

d7000 is not on the same tier as the d700 as its still has an aps-c sensor

  • I would not recommend second hand as it might have been dropped. 60D : kogan, jbhifionline, citiwide, dwi all grey. you can drop a faulty camera in to a jb store and they send it off for repairs at their cost.

the lens is more important than the camera.
