This looks to be the cheapest pre-order price for a local copy of Persona 5 Strikers - $69 for a copy + $3.90 delivery. As of currently, the game is only available at Big W as an online only pre-order.

I've linked the Switch version for the deal; PS4 version is here

Closest priced copy would be Ozgameshop for $71.99 with free shipping, although since they're based out of the UK, the game may not arrive on time; and well the difference is very negligible.

Oh and for those unaware, this game is a chronological sequel to the original Persona 5 game on PS3/PS4, but is developed by Omega Force from Koei Tecmo (the team behind the Dynasty Warriors games), with gameplay involving action based combat rather than the turn based combat of the original game.

    I'm going to wait.

    Mario 3D all stars and Hyrule Warriors all dropped in price in a month so no hurry to get this even though i want it.

          Can you though in local stock? Ebay has UK stock for PS4/Switch, Amazon has it as US stock for PS4/Switch, Mightyape has UK stock for PS4, JB Hifi as awaiting stock on Switch only, EB Games delivery for Switch only.

      Both of them had little discount (like $5) when it was released, then followed by bigger discount ($15 - $20 less than RRP). These are only two games I purchased on the pre-order, learnt one should not preorder.

    I'm just disappointed that this wasn't a spin off from mario super strikers.

    Would kill for a soccer mario game again :(

      Fingers crossed a new one is announced by Nintendo this year? Actually considering the Switch has over 70 million hardware sales, kind of bewildering that there's only one Mario sports game (not including the Mario & Sonic Olympics crossover).

        If they announce anything it will be a pro version (as rumoured). Doug Bowser only annoyed the other day that the switch was only half way through its life cycle.

    fwiw this is locked at 30 fps while ps4/pc are 60fps if that means anything to anyone.

      Fair point, though I did link the PS4 version as well in the description. I believe there are quite a lot of Switch only players who are happy to get a Persona game on their platform of choice in the first place though (judging by how often people have been requesting the original game to come to the platform), not to mention those who want to play it in handheld format (unless you have a Vita to use Remote Play).

    Wait this is a sequel to P5 and not P5R? That is the weirdest thing ever and the fact that the main persona games were never on the switch/pc but the sequel is. LOL

    I wonder if it can do 4k60fps on ps5 or will there be P5 Strikers Royal.

      Basically in Royal, there are actually 2 main endings. The first ending is the same ending as in the original game, and that is where Strikers follows on from.

      As for performance, based on what some reviewers have said (they've played the Japanese version), it is 4K60fps on PS5.

      1. music rhythm/dancing game
      2. an add-on sequel
      3. dynasty fifa warrior game
      4. profit < cross platform> re-releases

        Whenever Persona 6 releases I'm going to wait until they re-release it again with DLC.

        I made the mistake buying the physical limited edition original P5, and then another limited edition P5 Royal came out.

        Definitely great games, played P3 and P4 Golden also, I just don't like how they milk it.

      1 vs 1000. typical Dynasty/Hyrule Warrior games where one combo will usually wipe out a few dozen enemies at a time.

          Yes it's like Age of Calamity, but nothing like Gods and Monsters as far as I am aware.
