    Mine just arrived. They worked ok for me out of the box EXCEPT I don't notice any noise cancelling at all. Also nothing I can see displays the brand name advertised in the ad.

      I think they are referring to the noise cancelling microphone instead of actual proper ANC. I consider that as deceptive marketing.

      Yeh, thinking false advertising here, the only active noise cancelling mentioned is in the title.

      The description doesn't list it as a feature and only mentions "acoustic echo cancellation", which (as already mentioned by systema) is related to the mi.

      My guess is maybe they have CVC (clear voice capture) rather than ANC (active noise cancellation): https://nerdtechy.com/cvc-anc-definition
