    Hi Rep, how long does coffee last? I've heard beans can last a long time, but you only have a few weeks to drink it once it's ground?

      Whole beans for espresso i'd say optimal drinking is 1 week to 1 month. Should last up to 1.5 months, maybe 2 months max. You could chuck it into the freezer to prolong its life too.

      Ground coffee would only really last a few days, one week max. I'd be surprised if it still tasted nice after that amount of time. Perhaps you could try freezing it and dosing it out as needed?

      Once you grind beans, you need to brew them straight away. They get worse by the second, and I wouldn’t even leave ground coffee for a few minutes

      Hi there, Yep agree with what everyone else has said! The only thing I'd add is that some coffee bags are infused with a gas to extend their shelf life to 12 months eg. Aldi Lazzio.

      But yes, best to store whole beans, use within 2-4 weeks and grind on demand. If you can't use within this period then freeze.

      Hey there, the blend that best hits those notes would be Code Black Ex Wife or Vader

      The Market Lane is a bit of a simpler coffee: it will offer nutty and choc flavours, but it won't have those more nuanced caramel flavours. It will be roasted on Thursday :)
