NBA International League Pass Broadband 15% off

420
RETSUB2011

NBA league pass, 15% off coupon code. RETSUB2011 brings it down from US$219.99 to US$186.99.

All games, playoffs, and finals.

Since OneHD is being lame and not playing any games this season, this seems like a good bargain.

  • Any idea how long the code is valid for?

    • Until the 9th of Jan. Thought I'd posted that, my bad.

  • I got the 10% off code through e-mail - i'm a sucker - David stern is going to get my money

    • These include playoffs and finals though, they're not a separate package this year.

      • Yeh - I edited my post after realising the playoffs were included. Can't wait for the season to start

  • how can the aussie price be more than the US price when the aussie dollar is around 1.01 at the moment what a rip off

    • really, that sucks balls - might be worth e-mailing them

    • The nominal exchange rate is 1.01. Good luck finding somewhere that will exchange it for that. The real exchange rate would be more like 0.98 for us

    • It states: * Approximate local currency pricing. Actual billing will be in U.S. Dollars.

Therefore your credit card will be billed US$186.99 and the exchange will be done by your bank. Their approximate conversion to AUD$245.38 is not even close.

I think this might be a case for a lockout for aussie NBA fans.

great idea… come into an NBA thread and tell us all that Rugby & Footy is better. I'm sure you'll get plenty of +ve's :).

  • are you sure oneHD isnt playing any games??

For those worried about the $245.38 aud pricetag on the nbatv website I can confirm that You will be billed the USD equivalent so around 190AUD as I just picked up the season/playoff pass.

Can't wait for the season to start!

  • Is multiple login possible? I'm thinking of splitting with a friend….

    or three..

    • +1

Previous experience indicates that this is not possible. If a second user logs in, the first will be logged out. Otherwise everybody would just use the one account.

  • Yep, got onto this pretty early this morning. Only 12 more days until we get blockbuster games overload on Boxing Day.

  • Question: What resolution does it stream at? Can you output it to a plasma/lcd/led and it still look decent?

    cheers!

ps. Heat to take out the title, Dwight to stay in Orlando, CP3 to the Clips making Lakers the second team in LA… ya heard!

    • Okc for the title. Dwight to the nets and cp3 to the clips. At least you got 1 outta 3 right:)

    • You can pick what res you like: I'm not sure of the highest res, but I did this last year and it looked good on the TV.

    • You pick the bandwidth.. From memory there were four settings, 3 mbit, 1.5 mbit and two below that. I generally used the 1.5 and found the quality amazing, even on a 50". Chews through a lot of data though.

  • nice find, but i can't believe the price actually went up this year despite the shortened season, money-grabbing effort :(

    • It includes playoffs and finals, so I'm pretty sure it's gone down.

      • -1

        Did I not say price?

        • so the price hasn't gone up?

    • it was 100 last year for season and 30 for playoffs, its gone up alot!

  • what is the best way to watch this on your TV?

    • HDMI cable from PC to TV? I'd say the price has gone down compared to previous seasons where you paid one subscription for the regular season, then another for the playoffs and finals, even though it is a shortened season. Although you may be able to prove me wrong with previous seasons figures.

    • iPad to AppleTV via AirPlay = no wires = FTW!
