Hey guys,
I'm just after a budget desktop that has enough grunt and speed to handle everyday tasks.
I noticed these used Dell ones on Amazon. Any advice appreciated

Hi mate. I was looking at hopefully spending no more than $500 on the unit.
I already have an ok monitor. I was going to look into new ones though that might be less taxing on my eyes.
we have a stack of 9020's at work.. I wouldnt want to try Photoshop on them…
It doesn't have to be a 9020. Guess I'm just interested in a well spec'd unit that has had good price depreciation since new. (I'm assuming that is a better way to go than a entry level Officeworks one, but correct me if I'm wrong).
M1 Mac Mini is twice your budget, but it will be worth more to you in five years than any $500 PC you'll buy.
I've got one of those 9010 sff (with an i5-3570) and put a 1050ti in it, it runs fine for all the things you mention. They do go for cheaper regularly on ebay for cheaper than the Amazon link you posted.
Cheers mate.
Does yours have inbuilt wifi or a toggle?
( I guess I could always ask the guys in the eBay stores to stick a new graphics card in one too hey)
Toggle? :) No inbuilt wifi but you can add with a usb adaptor. There's heaps of built in USB ports. I added a usb bluetooth adaptor for use with bt headphones.
What is your max budget?
Do you need the lot? Ie. Mouse, keyboard, monitor etc?
With photoshop you are best getting one with a dedicated graphics card.
