JB Hifi consistently pick shit winners. I say this as someone who's gone over old comp posts on their Facebook page. They often just pick a few female and male entrants with straightforward answers. Sometimes the answers go over 25WOL. But it doesn't matter as everyone else has already moved on.
I'd also won a phone from JB Hifi in 2018 using a witty entry but it looks like their judges stopped giving a shit nowadays since they usually have over 200 entries for their average comp.
