Should I Keep or Sell My Mobile Phones?

I have 3 phones at the moment. Google Pixel 3L, Samsung Note 8 and Samsung Galaxy A20.

Should I sell the Pixel and the Samsung and try to get something like a iPhone SE or one of the androids (Pixel 4a, Samsung S20 etc)?

Or keep one of the old flagships and sell the rest?

If you have any suggestions, please let me know in the comments

Note 8 and A20 will probably not get any android updates, only security ones. Pixel will get android updates until end of 2021 and then security updates only after that time.

    If you need or want multiple smartphones anyway then one of them may as well be an iPhone. And you can dual sim (with one being an esim) so maybe you could get away with just two phones. Maybe just tell the Jones's that you have four. Tell them you have five!

    Don't get the Iphone, the batterylife is average.
    Sell all of them and get the S21 when it comes out this month.

    If google photos backup is important, pixel will have ongoing free backup support. It's worth looking into if you can transfer photos for backup to the pixel from other devices.

      The only ones I am interested in are the Pixel 5 and the iPhone 12 Mini or SE. Both will be within my budget if I sell all 3. Just a bit apprehensive if its worth upgrading or just use one of these and sell the rest

    Sadly you won't get much for those phones selling them to mobile monster or on Facebook marketplace. But you will get $0 keeping them in a drawer.

      On Gumtree I am getting offers for $400 for the Note 8 and $520 for the Pixel (128GB). Both were purchased from the manufacturers directly. Yeah, keeping them in the drawer is a total waste

    I use one of my old mobiles to show pictures from a security camera,
    it also keeps images if there is movement so I can view it later

      Thats a very good idea. I live in an apartment complex but if I needed a cctv in the future I'll keep that in mind.
