  • $2 difference between the 240mm and the 360mm.

Good price. Cheapest local is $170 at JW

  • Good AIO, I've got one on my 5800x and it performs well.

    • Does yours make a feint trickling noise every now and then?

Sounds like it's the water pushing some air through. How did you place it in your rig? You should be looking to have the fans above (if possible) and the pump below so air can't make it down to the pump.

        • Fans are above, I have the O11 case, like everyone on earth, and pretty much followed some common builds. It just trickles through every now and then but ehh… cooling performance is ok but not fantastic. Ryzen 5 seems to have some wild spikes for split seconds that can rev the fans too.. on a side note. But I like the cooler, was a cheaper alternative to the Corsair.

          • @[Deactivated]: Same case and cooler, I no longer have trickling noises with it mounted on the side pipes down (although it took a while after changing it for the noises to fully stop).

      • refer to the video posted below, it may help you

Good knowledge in regards to AIO Mounting Orientation

I bought it for my future (when in stock and not over RRP) 5900x on black friday sale at PLE for same price

Happy with the cooler, but I've had it connected up directly via the motherboard header for RGBs rather than using the additional controller provided. The additional controller being magnetic, with the only steel in my case for it to stick to being the hard drive cage seemed like poor design - not to mention the mess of wires but I have no point of reference with regards to other RGB & triple fan setups to compare it to in that regard - also, the magnet was more concerning 12 months ago when I was forced to rebuild an entire system due to a mobo failure that could work with my existing RAID (forced to stick with intel too for that reason - I knew a raid isn't a backup per se, but I was pretty slack in making and keeping backups because "I don't really store anything of value on it", discounting the value of convenience… but I digress) before transitioning off spinning disks almost completely.

The other worrying thing is that Cooler Master's warranty is only 2 years compared to most other AIOs which have 5 or so, regardless of Australian consumer guarantees I feel like that sets a baseline for reasonable expectations of its durability and your recourse if it does fail and kill other expensive components - especially since pretty much all these AIOs are either made by or under license for the patent from the same OEM. That's just one more thing to consider in the product's overall value proposition.

It's a good price for a product that does its job well, IMO and keeps my system cool while barely audible - and set to low brightness under tinted glass looks pretty damn good but if you want it to be obnoxiously bright and showy you can opt for it too. For peace-of-mind, I will probably replace mine when it gets to the two-year mark and that will in the long run actually make it more expensive than one of the higher-end competitors.

    • what did you pay?

      • I paid $170 in February.

  • This or this for $179 ?https://www.centrecom.com.au/msi-mag-coreliquid-360r-cpu-cooler
