      Yes! Lots of Fun!

  • China import, if you can wait order from Aliexpress and save a few $$$, search for "Colorful Wooden Tower Toy With Hammer" shorturl.at/psPV1

  • +4

20% off is good but these are a lot cheaper from AliExpress/Amazon etc.

E.g. this is ~$18.30 shipped instead of $32.98 from your store

Thank you ValueInvesting. Suppose people who shop on AliExpress are not looking for deals on this site. Different platform have different buyers looking for items. Of course our products are not for everyone, however they are much better quality than products from other sources, have been designed in Australia by Ozzie mums and are testes and quality approved. Have a great day and thank you for taking your time to write your comment, Alena

      • +3

Quality approved? Who’s done the testing and where’s the certification? Genuinely curious with this claim.

Also, if the item is designed by “Ozzie mums” then how does it fit the Montessori theories? Are these mums certified Montessori educators?

      • Who TF says “ozzie”

I know this is OzB but FFS it’s Straya or Aussie not “ozzie” unless you’re an ostrich puppet from a television show from a bygone era!

I suspect this business is masquerading as an Aussie business ran by the CCP, look at the cliche Aussie profile pic ;)

          • +1

@nawalo: Could be her, the business name is indeed registered to an Alena with a non-Chinese surname.

          • @nawalo: Looks like that was her real pic going by social media and i think you've offended her cos account has been deleted 😆

  • -4

Thank you for your comment Nawalo. This our own branded product though. Both, the brand and the product are trade marked and registered at IP Australia. Have a great evening, Alena

    • +4

Well that's great but would be better if it was actually made in Australia and not just an import with a reseller margin on top and selling it to the rest of the community as a discounted product/bargain. Thats not the Ozbargain spirit.

      • -1

Dear Sir, as your profile shows you are selling at least 5 products that are imports from China and that are available on AliExpress at a much lower price. May be I could suggest that you show some grace and stop bullying my listing and let small businesses do their work. Thank you, Alena

        • +2

I never sold anything here on ozbargain, this site is mainly to post bargains that someone in the community found and shares with others. I would strongly suggest to not post here anymore and rather move your business to Amazon or Ebay.

          • -3

@nawalo: Thank you for your advice. I would definately do that. The community here is shocking. You have all just attacked me for absolutely no reason, all I was trying to do is to run my small business. Thank you for "community spirit", very "proud" of our Australian men.

            • +1

              @[Deactivated]:

Thank you for "community spirit", very "proud" of our Australian men.

What do you mean Australian men? I take offence to this toxic sexism, and will not be supporting your business at all.

              • -1

@pharcyde: Is this what you call " supporting the business ?" - Spam/Blatant advertising of rubbish. Also lol at claiming that this business designed this toy when all evidence points to it being a generic chinese dropshipping toy.

This is what your wrote Sir, this is not " supporting" but rather a pure bullying and defamation.

Again, I absolutely did not give you or others any grounds for such aggressive campaign. You have also started selling here some time ago and I bet the community then was much nicer than now.

                • @[Deactivated]: Why are you calling out potential customers, presuming their gender is "Male" then using it as a weapon against them?

I do not wish to support a business that uses gender in attempt to shame someone.

                  • +2

@pharcyde: I don’t think you’ll get too far with Alena, she’s adamant her company designed this you even though @nawalo had found its twin on Aliexpress.

    • +5

How can you trademark an item that’s readily available off Aliexpress? Again, genuinely curious by your claims.

  • +4

Couple of things - your website says you have 18 years experience but ABR search says the Danelle name wasn’t registered until July this year so how do you substantiate this claim? Your trademark was only accepted by IP Aust not actually registered so how is that registered?

No mention of ABN/ACN on the website either.

Wow, thank you very much Mini2. We feel super important here. You have taken all these time to go into so much research. Really appreciate. However, I have a business to run and a family to feed and will not be replying but reporting your offensive comments from now on. By the way, if you would have checked the ASIC records you would have known that Danelle is a registered business name and not the company name. Have a great evening, Alena

    • +3

You seem quite aggressive for someone who tried to sell. I think what mini2 done is just some basic research as any concern parent will do. A lot of people nowadays will use montessori trademarks to sell their products at a higher price than what it is worth actually . As for example, i have no problem buying a product like barbie ( or any other branded product) from target / big w / kmart that are actually made in China as long as it s was deemed safe for kids to play and use ( no lead in paint, or parts that fall apart,…). Maybe you should try to point what is the exact difference between your product and the one available on ali express or amazon to justify the price ? It will be more benefit for you?! Honnestly, i was about to click at your product but then see all the neg and start reading through. And your replies are just putting me off from buying anything from your store as i can only imagine how a nightmare will be a follow up if anything go wrong with the product .

      • Thank you Fier, I am not aggressive, I am shocked. Just overwhelmed by such a "great greeting" and all these comments. We sell a range of different products. We are a small business operating on different selling platforms and never ever I have experienced such hate and a desire to diminish a person and a business, as here. You can check our Ebay and Amazon pages - we have 100% positive feedback and every single customer points that we provide exceptional customer service. Hence, I cannot understand and will be seeking advice on how to deal with this now and where or not it is even worth my time and money advertising here. Seems like people on this platform are only looking to post negative comments. Not one of these people even bought from us yet to post negative reviwes yet. Thank you heaps for your advice on diffirentiation - I will rewrite the listing to address that. Alena

        • +2

omg, do you actually understand what this platform is for? Please do your research. Secondly, what time and money did you spent to advertise here? Am I in the right movie? :)

        • +1

While i can understand your point, i think you took most comments in the wrong way. If you pay attention to any other post/deals you will see that many ozbargainers will post some "interesting" answer that could be take in one way or another one. Having a "tongue-in-cheek" will always be better for a seller or any advertiser than feeling being under attack and becoming what i call a "key-warrior". I know many small business who moved to etsy for custom made product ( even if it's import from China and modified in australia) and never get any issues. As i said, try to be the one who sell and the one who buy. As a buyer, you want to make sure that the product you buy is genuine and safe but also ( because it's a bargain place) you want the cheapest price available.

Spam/Blatant advertising of rubbish. Also lol at claiming that this business designed this toy when all evidence points to it being a generic chinese dropshipping toy.

    • -1

Thank you for your comments Pharcyde. We have designed this toy. It have been made specifically for us and has our brand name. We sell many other kids toys too and are specialising in wooden Montessori toys. We are not a dropshipping business. Thank you. Alena

Tried to write something witty, failed…

  • Clearly dropshipped Chinese rubbish. If you are interested buy directly from AliExpress

  • I always thought Montessori would use a real hammer, not a toy hammer 😜

  • Hi Alena. Just noticed that on the bottom of your website it says "Copyright © Dannela 2020". Is that a typo, or is it meant to be Daniela?

    • No its correct from her insta "Danelle stands for Daniel and Alissa – names of two beautiful kids 6 and 16 years old."

      • I see. But it says Dannela, not Danelle

        • +1

Well she'll find out at some stage I reckon. Looks like she is a genuine business owner just her products are being sold in a kind of misleading way. She was working in beauty before so new to online sales it seems which explains her amateur way of argumenting I guess.

          • @nawalo: Indeed, but I don't think she'll be coming back to this platform.

            • @Lizard Spock: She shouldn't unless she has a real bargain she can share with us ;)

              • @nawalo: I suppose selling technique at a beauty salon isn't exactly a skillset that is readily transferable to selling stuff online.

              • @nawalo: Well that's that. Disabled user. Never found out if it was a typo.

  • Wow… what have I wandered into

Keep looking shocked and move slowly towards the cake…

But it's like a car crash i can't look away from!
        OP:
        - claims generic product has been designed by Australian mothers and quality approved, with no information to backup claims
        - thinks OzBargain is some sort of advertising space where only male users post their products
        - thinks being questioned about some missing business details is "offensive"

        😐
