Not the cheapest but for people without access to UNiDAYS it's not a bad deal. Looks like Amazon is price matching VideoPro if you prefer to C&C or BNPL.

  • Can also be purchased for $1200 without too much effort at HN. Picked one up just before Xmas

And what do you think of it?

      • It's great! Lots of punch for something so compact.

Probably the best sound experience you can get from a soundbar atm and without going down the path of getting a AV receiver / full surround sound system

Much better than the Yamaha YSP-2500B I had.

        • Even without the sub?

          • @jebeatworld: For me yes. No doubt a sub would make it even better though.

I was reluctant to purchase any additional speakers / sub as I've had nothing but problems with other cheaper wireless surround sound systems (Panasonic & Yamaha). Sonos wireless systems appear to be very reliable from what I've read online though.

        • Do you have eARC to run Dolby Atmos or just Dolby Digital over last generation ARC? I’m tossing up between Beam and Arc but I don’t have eARC. Assuming I will when I next upgrade the TV, so to future-proof or just get the cheaper beam? Argh

@bargainben: You can get a eARC splitter thing. Can’t remember what they are called but couple exist now and all seamed to pop up after the Sonos arc turned up.
Might not be what you are looking for but figured I would mention it any way.

    • How did you get that price??

  • Yea not a bad deal but same as mentioned before go into JB or Harvey and ask for a price you’ll do better..

    • Was Getting it for $1150 at JB

      • just by asking for a deal, or matching? Don’t think JB has much stock of it at the mo

Do you have a receipt or how?

VideoPro also has it for $1,290 at the moment. They also have BNPL options with Humm and Zip.

    • Thanks, I'll add it to the post.

    Can't ignore a Sonos post.
How people can support a company that once deliberately bricked a product in firmware and now has an option to render a device completely useless in thir firmware so a user can get a pathetic discount on a replacement.
It's the worst of forced obsolescence from this mob and it's ethically and morally bankrupt.
    Can't downvote enough.

Can I keep my product as part of my system?
Yes, you can continue using your product.

Until the back flip again, then get called out again, then make another token positive offer again.
Sonos' bullshit is a repeating cycle.
        I stand by my neg.

Not sure I could go the ARC until Sonos adds proper rear channel support. Last I checked it's just the left and right channels repeated. Terrible.

    • It only does that if the source is stereo (like music) and you’ve set the app to repeat the sound.

      • Correct, try a clip with surround sound and listen…

        • +1

Yeah happy to be corrected. It's just the 1 issue all the reviewers on YouTube brought up, that the rears were just the front left and right repeated). Maybe they fixed it.

  • Anyone know of any deals on the Arc in black? No stock in most major retailers in NSW

  • You can get it directly from Sonos website for $1189.15 by using UNiDAYS 15% off code

    • Yea that’s a pretty good deal but I don’t have unidays, so just seeing what other options people may know of

    • Anyone willing to pm a Unidays code? Would be greatly appreciated
