Celsius RK1 Half Rack $349 + Delivery/Click & Collect @ Rebel

100

I've been on the lookout for a squat rack at a decent price for a while. This seems like a good deal, most are going for around $400.

To get it at $294 I went down to the Rebel store and bought a $300 gift card with Zip, then used the CashRewards cashback for $25 off. Cashrewards cashback may not be honored although I have gotten tracking confirmation for my order - "You may not be eligible for Cashback: If a gift card is purchased or used as payment."

Tried a few locations and it seems most major cities have a pickup location with stock, $99 delivery otherwise.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2020

Just got confirmation of cashback from Cashrewards!

    • It will track but they'll likely cancel it before it's 'released' if you can't use gift cards.

This is the same rack as the one Aldi were selling a few years ago, but with a grey instead of black/read paint job. Was $199 at the time!
The "covid normal" mark-ups are quite insane.

If you are serious about your home gym setup don't cheap out on the squat rack or bar!

Found a full force usa squat rack barely used on marketplace for $600.

If you do buy this get some nice J-hooks, the ones on it look brutal to unrack for bench.

    • Thanks for the tip. Any recs for bars? Just starting out and not looking at lifting any serious weight.

I recommend a decent power bar, im not familiar with anything other than the reputable brands. I think Rogue has one for around $450, sounds alot but will resell for near that price for years to come.

Otherwise gymdirect has been pretty good for budget equipment, I bought a really nice single arm pulley machine that wall mounted for $300. I'm sure their bars are well priced and are what you would find in most commercial gyms.

  • Yes! Nice rack

  • Hey @Cheaplikethebird, nice rack ;P

  • If not in rush have seen these at Rebel for $199 during reductions.

  • I bought one of these a few months back. Probably not as high quality, but does the job for pullups/chinups and is half the price.. https://www.dshop.com.au/buy/power-tower-dip-bar-pull-up-sta…

Ignore the sale, it's a really dodgy always on sale. When it ends, the sale just immediately starts again. Price will always be around this - fluctuating $30 or so.
