After the last deal on these Xiaomi blocks I've finally been able to secure a deal on 2 more as requested. These are similar to Technic, can be built, have motors, battery and Bluetooth so they can be controlled with an app.

First up is the Hexapod Titan that as demonstrated in this video can walk and move around. The second is the Carrier Truck that has steering and a motor so that it can be driven around.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate and stackable 3% cashback at Cashrewards.

    What is this things purpose?

    • The same as LEGO Technic. There are AR games that can be played with them through the app.

I, for one, welcome our new robot overlords.

    • … China?

  • Thanks OP :)

  • How can I get assembling manual? It is missing in the box

    • There's an app called Mi Robot Builder Global in Google Play that has it.

      • Thanks. I doesn't have the model from the deal.

In the Chinese brochure I found the qr that lets downloading an app that has the manual (all in chinese obviously)

We've had a look around and this app will do it. Unfortunately it's not in the Play Store yet and all in Chinese.

          • @Clear: You are right, this one works. And it is only partially Chinese. Also it is recommended to use android tablet to use it normally (everything looks so small on my Galaxy S10)

  • It is interesting to see how well Xiaomi copied Lego, but it still miles away from Lego level of quality. It takes seconds to figure out it is not Lego with eyes shut: your fingers will tell you; and it tastes differently :D Lego is quite neutral and Xiaomi tastes terrible. But overall quality is just enough not to be bothered by it.
