Tablet for Kids to Watch Movies

I'm looking for a cheap tabletl for the kids to watch movies (either from netflix, youtube or similar) that i could possibly store on the USB/drive and allow them to watch when onboard a flight or whilst travelling.

I'm thinking a Tablet Samsung Tab A7 from office works.

Is it possible to save files, movies onto the device when they are not in a wifi area to allow them to watch it uninterrupted?

    You can also save the movies onto the internal storage, through the VLC app you can add movies via a web browser on your PC even. Also you can use OTG adadpters to connect usb drives, ymmv depending on the drive or device you choose. Onboard storage is surely easier these days, no forgetting any adapters or storage devices.

    Get YouTube premium, then you can download YouTube videos to your tablet.

    Or if you enjoy android hacks, then get YouTube Vanced installed to download your YouTube videos.
