I thought Borderlands 3 flopped. Who awarded it Game of the Year?
Generally just means it includes all the DLC
I believe those get called a Complete Collection, Complete Pack, Definitive Edition, etc.
GOTY is for games that were awarded Game Of The Year.
GOTY is a meaningless term nowadays. Every magazine, website, publication and even publishers claim their own GOTY arbitrarily.
GOTY editions do generally refer to base game + DLCs now.
The other editions are when you bundle Game 1, 2 and 3 sequels etc.

For a classic example: Dirt Rally 2.0 claimed itself to be Game of the Year yet no one actually awarded them that title.

@Hybroid: At least half of the games you listed were awarded Game of the Year. You are right about Dirty Rally 2.0, but will need to find a lot more than 1 to show that this is something that 'generally' happens.

I don't see many more. Seems like the EB search just fills the results with random unrelated products. Everything past the first page is filled with speakers, headphones, keyboards, socks, gift cards, consoles, etc. Everything else except GOTY games.

@HomeAlone: It's mostly console to repackage and sell you the game again although PC physical editions are done too. As you've mentioned above, Steam does it slightly differently with 'Collections' and usually does deduct price of already purchased content instead of selling you whole thing again.
it looks like it got some good reviews. Is it really bad? I have played both Border 1 and 2.
It's not a bad game per se but it lacks the "soul" of the first 2 installments. It's also the only one where I lost interest half-way through and didn't finish it.
