eBay Price Guarantee Not Being Honoured?

Wanted to see other people's experience trying to get the price guarantee claim. I bought a 5800x a month ago and found it cheaper on umart by $30. Submitted the price guarantee a day later and got no reply.
Followed up on ebay chat 6 times over the last month getting vague replies like "we have contacted the price guarantee team and they will contact you in 48 hours (which they never do).
Now the 5800x at umart is out of stock (after like 3 weeks of it being in stock).

Anyone else experience this delay tactic or an outright refusal to do the price guarantee?

    I've never had any issues with price matching. I always go into the livechat, give them my order number and the link to cheaper price, and then they generate the coupon on the spot. Can take a while sometimes to get someone on the chat, but it always works.

    I've had 3 claims with them and they all went through practicalystraight after.
