Ryzen is faster, more secure, uses less power and has longer battery, in fact next gen amd 5000 is rumoured to be 30% faster clock for clock then intel 10/11th gen.

When you buy intel at this time you are saying to the industry that you don’t 2017, for 8 years intel had dual and quads and then amd released ryzen and now we have up to 16 core in laptop and 64 core cpu in desktop

OP is looking for 1TB "HDD". Intel Celeron is a better choice as it'll anyways bottleneck any good CPU, and will give bad name to Ryzens :-)

  • Intel is currently the crappier out of the two cpu's. You should be looking for a Ryzen for more bang for your buck. And this is from someone who bought an Intel Razer laptop this year -_-

  • Why do you want intel, or a HDD when there are better options?

    • thanks, which specific ones do you recommend in my budget?

      • something such as the lenovo e14 or e15. On sales, they may drop to below your budget. Unfortunately it has a 256gb ssd. which you can upgrade to 1tb for around 100 dollars. I cant stress enough how important an ssd is.
