    The camera's are POE (powered by the Cat cables)…so "technically" if you run them in the roof/walls etc. you need a licensed cable guy…….but laying Cat cables isn't rocket science.

      Was planning to install the same cameras at my place, and I'm sure I can get this done by myself, however was not aware that this need a cable guy. Is it just a recommendation or I need to hire someone regardless ?

        It's all plug and play. If you were installing it in a commercial building or a rental, it would pay to get a licensed person to install it. But in your own home, who going to call the police to say you DIY security cameras. More to the point who would care!

    i believe so, from memory only there 4k cameras aren't ONVIF
    you just have to deal with surveillance station licensing.
