Think so.

Same product with a few buttons moved around
seems ok if it doesn't blow up in the first few weeks
I like how a small convection oven is now called an air fryer because it's a trendy term
If this is really a air fryer it looks like a nightmare to maintain a tight seal so the aerosoled oil stay in after many uses. Washing must be a pita too because theres so much suface area for the oil to get onto.
None ive seen or owned work like that.
All the air fryers (including the phillips original one) are mini fan forced ovens, and rely on the boiling oil to somewhat atomise itself; however its just placed in the cooking tray.
Same thing happens in a regular full size oven.
Its just that the 'high wind' and heat has a drying effect also, which makes things crispier.
Is there an actual one with an atomiser? If so that sounds bloody cool!
Last time I use a word that just pops into my head. lol. I wish one had an atomizer too.
I just think this thing looks harder to clean and if theres air leakage it wont work as well. With the traditional air fryer shape it feels like Philips really optimized it for cleaning and keeping the air circulating inside
@Lost-Sons of dallas: Being sealed is actually not a feature required.
Cleaning; sure, it's a bigger and arguably more versatile oven; but it should crisp things just as well as any dedicated high air flow oven (like an air fryer).
I saw an advert the other day for a full size oven with an “air fryer” function…
"Dimitri! Remove all "fan grill" stickers! Replace with "air fryer" stickers!"
Just to confirm, this doesnt have the harmful microvawes right?
Completely safe if you are wearing a tinfoil hat.
All of australia's microwaves are 2.4ghz; same as wifi and bluetooth and close to regular mobile phones.
Its non-ionising, and therefore doesnt make anything radioactive.
However, like all ovens, it gets hot.
So there's infrared radiation, and visible light radiation. Like all heat sources or light bulbs.
Did you post this from your 5G phone?
No but instead this shoots out laser beams
Wife was telling me about one of her colleagues that brought one of these in for the staff Christmas party lunch yesterday…put a slab of pork belly in it so they had fresh, crispy pork crackle. What a champ!
How does this compare to Kmart one?
Favorably.
This is an air fryer only? Can it be used as a conventional (non-microwave) oven?
