Bread Maker – Easy Bread (SKU: EBC-10-0003) $29 + Delivery @ Singer

150

I had bought one when it was $14.85 (excluding delivery cost).

Have received an email from the seller indicating they will be selling it at $29 with the following conditions:

*Strictly one per customer, offer available to Australian residents only.

*Starts Boxing Day

Note: This item was sold at the $14.85 special price on other platforms back then but can't say if it will be the same price across them starting Boxing Day.

This is part of Boxing Day Sales for 2020

Note that they've released a .pdf with ratios / recipes to replace the non-available capsules: https://blessington.app.box.com/s/v6ew3ee0vx18ckkwq15fs9s0f8…

Bought for $15, have been using this happily for weeks and it's surprisingly great.

    • How big is each loaf of bread compared to standard store bought loaf size?

      • +1

You use around 360g of flour, so depending on the density of the contents, they're more like mini-loafs.

        • +1

People should take a loaf out of gannon’s book.

        • 360g (+ around 150g water?) are miniloafs?

Big bread rolls. Baking one at a time…

      • +2

        Cuts into about 10 slices

    • Thanks for the link.

do we need to clean it after every time we make bread?

      • +5

No, the elves do it while you sleep at night.

        • +1

It's the only time I buy appliances, when the cleaning elves are included

      • +2

It cleans easily. Just the paddle and tin both are non stick

  • What's the catch?
$199 to $28 seems like 'too good to be true'

    • As mentioned in the post that this item was sold at $14.85. Further - I suppose by design it was made capsule design friendly that has been phased out however it is still functional without the capsules and as others have shared the method/recipes that are compatible with the device.

      • Thanks. The part about a deprecated 'capsule design' was missing for me. Otherwise it seemed like it could be unrealistic makeup to flog a cheap product. But if it's genuinely $199 RRP I'm in!

I bought this at $15 last time. Best breadmaker I've ever owned. Yes, the loafes are smaller but we always struggled to get through a 750g+ loaf within a couple of days anyway. This makes perfect bread at the perfect size.

  • Would the bread you make in this be healthier than store bought bread?

  • Would the bread you make in this be healthier than store bought bread?

    • Yes, if you use healthy organic ingredients

    anybody else waiting on this?

    • +1

      Yep!

  • Just got one

Dodgys put up postage pricing as well. For $50 I'd rather get a proper breadmaker from Kmart. Was going to get a second as a backup but not at this price

    • Shipping is more than the breadmaker!

      • Flat rate shipping is $19.90. Unit is selling for $29.00. How is that more than the unit unless its not applying the flat rate but based on location? Then flat rate is incorrect.

        • Mine is showing 29.90 shipping to WA

          Bread Maker - Easy Bread × 1 $29.00
          Subtotal $29.00
          Shipping
          Flat rate: $29.90
          Total $58.90 (includes $5.36 GST)

    • Agree the postage has gone up. It was $15 via flat rate when I had transacted on this. This time its showing $19.90 via flat rate.

Yeah $39 for the kmart one which is way better value… https://www.kmart.com.au/product/bread-maker/3249339
