I asked Threadless for some OzBargain exclusive offer — and here it is! It is the same as the last special at the beginning of this month (but was somehow cut short) — 50% off T-shirts! It's also going to be short-lived, as the offer expires "Sunday 11 December", but that could be US time so sometime in the afternoon on Monday. Enjoy!

not by regular lol. express option probs.
Lol no. Threadless has probably the longest shipping option of any online retailer I know. Think 2-4 weeks if you want the $6 shipping option.
Would any previous purchasers like to provide comments of the quality of Threadless T-Shirts? I would like to purchase but have heard mixed reports on the quality, and the cost of freight for returns is not an attractive option.
i find their material soft and comfortable. however, some colors do run smaller than others and this is a known problem that is acknowledged by Threadless. i wish they would standardize their sizing ASAP.
There sizes seem to be smaller than what they state..It's really annoying and actually has put me off purchasing from them again. Took rather long time to arrive as well.
Not in my experience. If anything, Threadless is like any other American shirt standards. It's usually a size up from Aussie. I'm 6' and apparently 'Small'
Read ur post quite quickly……and thought to myself….6" = small ….thats normal :)
I just received my order from the other 50% off sale.. I'm surprised by the poor printing (I'm hoping that the print won't wash off before they've been washed a few times), and the sizing (L) varies quite a lot from design to design.
Since they were on sale I can't be bothered sending them back, with the shipping costs it's simply not worth the trouble.
On the upside, Threadless are better quality than Pacsun.com tees. Pacsun clothing is absolute crap. You can actually see through the tee's because the fabric is so thin.
All in all, if you're after some cheap tees with cool designs, 50% off is hard to pass by.. but if you're after some good t-shirts you're actually going to wear a lot, you'd be far better off going to a store where you can check the quality & try them on before purchasing.
same experience here, my first order with them was great - $10 tees of great quality, wearing them for 2 years now.
Quality dropped dramatically for my next two orders - my third (and last) came with this semi transparent shirts of ramdom sizes (supposedly L ranging between M and XL)designbyhumans.com has much better quality if you can get it at one of their $15 sales.
Wearing one as I type. Designs are awesome. Most shirts are tagless. (the have the tag printed inside the back collar.) which makes them nice.
Only downside is that they are really really thin. (not thick cotton) and quite susceptible to shrink in the wash and stretch if pulled or hung weirdly.
They'll pill easily (4 wears and I'm getting little fabric balls)That said, the designs make up for it.
For guys tees, the sizes are either correct or slightly larger.
For girls tees, the sizes are SMALLER than normal. Also, guys tees tend to be thicker than girls tees.
A guy's white tee is about the same thickness those you get at Target, thicker than Cotton On. However, girl's white tees are so thin, they are practically see-through.Tees made in the US or Mexico are generally better quality than those made elsewhere (eg. India, pakistan).
Hope it helps.
Awesome although I already bought what I wanted in the $9.99 sale :(
+1 for the hard work scotty and recognition of ozbargain! THIS. IS. OZBARGAIN!!
If you buy 6, you'll only pay $6 for delivery. So you can get 6 t-shirts for $66 (well most of them are $20).
If you're ok to create a new account and sign up for the newsletter, then you'll get a 10% off coupon (account specific) valid for a month or so. I haven't tested if this works with the coupon above but useful nevertheless.
+1 from me, great deal,
too bad i cannot submit and buy my design without the week approval etc.partly related,
anyone can suggest a decent place where to print tshirt(2 or 3 same des)?vista print
or get some of those inkjet iron-ons
but speaking without any experience of either of these.
I used cafepress. They are a but more expensive than vista print buy they let u set up a shop front for them to sell!
Vistaprint will slug you with postage and upgrades.
+1 from me because it's such a good discount, but be warned.. the quality of threadless tees aren't too good.
Just got a bunch of tee's from the recent 50% off sale.. if they hadn't been on sale, I'd probably be sending them back..Having bought about 30 of their shirts, its a mixed bag here. So far, I have t-shirts manufactured in India, Mexico, America and China.
I've noticed the Mexican and Indian origins are thicker than of the Chinese and Americans, which are extremely thin. It really depends on luck imo. Just buy these when sale are on. They're not worth $20 USD each to be honest, due the quality of the shirt itself. I would happily pay $25 for a better quality shirt.
The designs are the only reason keeping me buying from them.
+1 for the initiative. I've bought Threadless shirts on-and-off for years and don't really have a problem so some pointers.
1) There are some size discrepancies depending on design. Minor, but usually affects the length of the shirt, not girth.
2) Some printed designs come our poorer than others. The "all over prints" (stated next to the designs) can be a mixed bag with imperfections.
3) Large designs ie. those that use a lot of ink on the front can be scratchy underneath and don't breathe as well as the regular ones. They'll also probably need a wash before wear.
4) The $6 shipping option is affordable but Loooonnggg. Threadless is one of those places where I'd receive a package weeks after order and had forgotten I'd made one. It's like gifting a future me.Is OzBargain really that influential in the world of online retail? Cool!
Im confused. From what im reading these are not great quality shirts with inconsistent sizing. Why not just go to kmart and try it on before you buy.
Sure, if k-mart had designs that were crowd sourced and peer reviewed.
Well they are just a tad cooler (and a lot more original) than Kmart, but yes I agree they are hit and miss with fabric quality and sizing.
Sweet, I nearly ordered some stuff from them only yesterday and now I get an extra 10%. Top work!
The tee shirts are now 9.99. This means if you use the Ozbargain code, a tee shirt is 4.99 each. Just bought 17!!
yes, i can confirm this too! ordered 13 shirts.
11 shirts for 61 bucks including postage.. cant complain about that,, just hope they arrive by christmas…
Awesome find. Just spend $190 after discount wakakakaka
Code still working! 9 shirts delivered to AUS for $60 altogether ($45 + $15 shipping) :D Thanks scottee! :P
You should have bought 11. It'll be 11x$4.99 + $6 = $60.95.
Aah didn't realise the $6 shipping applied to international orders too. Ah well!
Code is now well and truly expired (as I discovered thinking I might cancel my original order and put in an amended one). Happy to have gotten in before it expired!
Not working here anymore :(
can ask for renewal pls? i just read this!!!
I ordered a hoodie and t-shirt from Threadless in early November and it took over a month to get delivered using standard shipping. The quality of their t-shirts is average but the hoodies are very comfortable! I almost thought it was lost after 5 weeks of waiting.
Any chance these would arrive before Christmas?
