  What has happenned? It used to be around $140-160 mark when reduced? 10% reduction does not really push a person into a spontaneous purchase.

  Have been planning on getting a few fans with lights and done a bit of research. The haiku ones are the ones I am going for. There will be a sale on boxing day I am sure and will pull the trigger. I want and option of wifi and also a proper wall switch rather than. Just rely on the remote control. Mainly for the lights on/off. Although it's extra cost haiku have the option I am willing to pay for.

      I don't know how much cheaper the haikus will be but judging by the discount on the US website it's about %30 off RRP for the folks over there. Yes it will still be more expensive than this one but people can make their own decisions what is important to them features wise when factoring in their purchase.

  I bought the white one of these about a month ago. Looks very similar construction and quality of parts to the Elgo which is $450 and cheapeast BAF at $595. The light on this one doesn’t dim. It’s quite bright. The Elgo does and likely the BAF. They also look a bit better. I find on the lowest speed this is stronger than I want, but if you reverse speed then it gives a nice waft in my small room. Very quiet too.

    Can you turn on the light without turning on the fan? I bought the 54" 5 blade one and I can't do that.

      Yes. You leave the wall switch on. Then fan and light have their own controls on the remote. Somethings wrong if you can’t do that.
