what kind of extension cord?
The router comes with a 240v to 12v adapter already right?
Take a normal 240v extension cable, plug it into wall, plug existng power brick into the other ….you now have a longer power cable for your router :)idk why i never thought of that, thanks
Maybe can roll your own.
Purchase length of suitable gauge double insulated cable and hardwire off exisiting secondary of transformer.uuuuuuummmmmmmms……? no idea how so dont think thats a good idea.
Hit up jay car. Maybes could hack together something with male female extension leads. Mind the voltage drop though depending on what distance running.
Wireless? Why are you after wires?
Could put new power point in closer to where you want it.

Or do it yourself, if you are handy - NB: This option is illegal in Australia unless you are licensed.
why not just use a normal extension cord, and then use the existing 12V adapter for whatever the last length is..
that, or some DIY work cut/join/extend the 9v cable from the existing power adapter with some 12vdc suitable cable.
