Christmas Bonus Survey - 2020 Edition

At the risk of being unpublished for posting a discussion that might elicit comments critical of bosses, I thought that I'd gauge the Ozbargain community on this vital issue.

We all know that 2020 has been an unusual year. In my field many firms cut back hours and pay. I know that half of you guys will lie on this survey, but I wondered how many of you are getting bonuses this year, if its down on previous years, and how much of a Christmas bonus people are getting.

  End of year bonuses are tied to performance year and paid pre-Christmas. Does that count?

  Pretty sure you should add a zero to all the selections, I wouldn't be surprised at people getting 10k+ bonuses.

    I did, but wasn't a Christmas bonus, just the standard bonus we get every year although it was delayed by a few months this year.

      Hmm I wasn't sure what constituted a Christmas bonus. My company just gave a nice gift mailed out to all employees.

  Bonus normally comes in the first quarter of the year for my company, however we received a gift card to use at a specific concept, most likely due to not being able to have Christmas parties.

  Why are the poll options in such small increments? What job gives a year end bonus of $50? Let alone under $500.

  Why did you break down $500 into 5 categories? Most people here don't work low end jobs and get bonuses well into the thousands…

    The votes tell a different story.
    By far the most popular category is no bonus as a standard thing.
    The remaining votes are split evenly between (normally get one but $0) to $500, and $500+
