AU site has closed but looks like they're still operating their 'UK' site. Perhaps logistical reasons they've pulled out of Aussie market.

Been looking for a new phone and I almost pulled the trigger on the Mi 10T from TecoBuy. They've got good prices which obviously come at the expense of questionable support and service. Not sure if I want to risk my time and money on this bunch.

In my hunt for the lowest prices for a particular smartwatch, I found out that TobyDeals AU is "no longer in business effective on 19-12-2020".
:'( Hope people who have ordered from them recently still receive their item and get warranty support.Anyone have any good suggestions for reliable sites for grey importing items? Aliexpress is too hit and miss for me.

I immediately re-ordered from TobyDeals AU, thankfully received mint condition phone today.

Wow I just got lucky on getting my ROG Phone 3 right before they shut down. Though I kinda regret getting the 128GB version. Shoulda went for 256GB.
This is so depressing, Toby deal delivered my mobile when no other place has stock and surprisingly fast as well. Good stuff doesn't last I guess…

Tobydeals avoided GST, that's why they where cheaper, I assume because the UK site is still open they are rebranding a new AU website.

Just received 2 phones from there. Took 21 days to arrive but that included the NYE break.Looks more less just Xiaomi phones. I did like that they (Tobydeals/Tecobuy) had a bit of variety in regards to iPhones/Samsung as well.
TD did switch their focus onto SS and iPhones shortly before they shut up shop. Xiaomi fan here :-)

Tecobuy, Tobydeals, eGlobal Central, DWI Digital etc are all the one company ERA Champ Ltd. All the sites still exist, they just don't ship to Australia anymore. If you particularly wanted something from them you could use a freight forwarder. I managed to get Tecobuy to freight forward a physical dual sim iPhone 12 before Christmas, so it can be done. It's probably only worth it if you're after a model that can't be found domestically or you get a significant discount, as freight forwarding added on like $40.
TL;DR: Tecobuy UK is now also closed.
Bought from Tecobuy AU in Sept 2020 for my father and super happy with the bargain price, delivery speed and the phone itself (Samsung A21s).
Saw this thread as I need a new phone for myself. Decided to check out the UK site just for price comparison's sake, based on the above comment re freight forwarding. Their website just loads with a note saying "We are sorry to announce that Tecobuy UK can no longer continue the business. All outstanding orders will be processed as normal."
Hahahaha. If hopes were dope, I could smoke until I choked.
