    I don't think the next gen xbox is coming soon. These I think are just the older version being sold due to the slim version being available.

  Nothing particular special here.

  A few retailers are doing it for that price ie 348/349 inc HN and GG.

  Dont confuse the $50 cashback offer as Microsoft will pay you the rebate irrespective of how much you paid for it so long as its a kinect bundle.

  As it stands unless someone spots a better price:

  1. Holiday bundle $348/349

  2. Target $419
     Joy Ride
     Just Dance 3

  Game $449
  Dance Central 2
  Sports Season 2

  4.
  JB $398
  Assassins Creed -Brotherhood
  Sega All Stars
  hdmi cable

  Based on actual cost of purchasing the games separately the 449 and 419 are the best deals as those games bought separately are $100 and $80ish respectively. Pretty close to the cost of buying the unit and then games separately…

  The 4th option has older less valuable games etc and hence not worth as much.

  PS They are all SLIM.

  PSS If your extremely optimistic (and ignore the fact that HALO 4 is slated for an xbox 360 release) and lucky xbox MAY have a new console end of next year though this depends on a few factors including what nintendo does etc. There will certainly not be any announcements etc at CES, thats just silly and wrong venue. Eitherway as it stands if they do indeed release a new console (in response to nintendo) then earliest itll come out would be Christmas time next year. More likely that nothing will happen or a slight possibility of an updated kinect sensor though they would then sort of be shooting themselves in the leg.
