I got an email today saying that my account is suspended for breaking T&C's around FF points and whatever not. There's also some threats about further action etc..
Has this happened to anyone before and what's the worst case scenario here?

I was accused of transferring points to friends & family and they want evidence. Yes i did it and no I'm not sending them evidence they can go jump
I would say you were accused of transferring points to someone that is 'not' in the family & friends category.
"I'm not sending them evidence they can go jump"
Firm stance, but I don't see it going well for you.
But seriously, what is the worst that can happen?
They seize your points along with the points of anyone you transferred them to.
They will also conduct the same review and potential point seizure on that person etc.
My understanding there is no friends category, only Eligible Family Members
I think you (and possibly some others on this forum) are in some trouble, how many points are stuck in your account?
Under 10k.
The hell with that account.
So lucky it isn't more…
How are you supposed to prove you are friends with someone?
Selfie with middle finger up.
Not sure why the downvote. I found it funny
cool. More points seats for the rest of us
Worst case scenario is that you lose all your points.
The people he sold the points to might come back and ask for a refund
See, this is why QFF points are not as good a currency as bitcoin!
Curious, do you know roughly when the 'offending' transfers happened?
Sorry to hear of your predicament, it happened to me with Velocity a long time ago and I've learned from that.
They audited from beg of 2020 until now, i;ve done a few transfers. What did Velocity do to you?
They completely shut down my account and forfeited my balance. But I got caught from advertising sales on Gumtree (though I'm sure my history would have been flagged at some point too).
I wonder how they track the listing (either here) to your qff or velocity account. It’s just seems baseless that they can somehow prove the listing of xxK points listed on gumtree originated from my account and posted to someone else’s account.
@prisonmike: Perhaps someone from qff/velocity bought them.
@buckster: Ahh fair point. That’s the issue I guess selling on gumtree.
@prisonmike: People go and post the exact number of points they have to sell, and then transfer that exact number soon thereafter. This is why I laugh every time I see some seller on ozb saying that they've got exactly 12,345 points for sale…. yet it happens all the time
Out of curiosity… for those who have had accounts shut down, can one simply create a new one?
Worst case scenario is they fly you to somewhere where capital punishment exists and frame you for drug trafficking.
You should be ok given the current travel ban, thanks 2020.
It happened to me once when i used to swipe 5k through my own eftpos weekly.
What did they accuse you of doing?
And did you do it?
