Oh, OW have already price matched. Bugger

    • I was about to go to OW. That was quick (:

  • Selling my 10 day old one on eBay. Great machine but fonts are just too small for my 60 year old eyes. The desktop browser doesn't look good if you up the font size to huge. It's not great on Android either but Android pumps up the size better as it's designed to run on phones and other small screens.

    • You're right, the font/display is a bit on the petite side. I do wear my glasses and its ok. But anyway I'm loving it (so far). I really like how its either a mini laptop when keyboard attached, or detached or folded around the back it acts more like a tablet. It seems to run Android apps mostly very well. Haven't tried Linux yet, looking forward to it. For me, exactly what I was looking for, going to flog off all my other older tablets (iPad, Samsung) and use this. It even does some Google assistant stuff (but not routines).

  • $359.10 with amazon or officeworks gift card purchase using zip Saturday 10% off tap and pay

    • max discount is $30 unless you split payment with another zip account

      • It's accumulated, you can buy 4x $100 amazon gift card then claim $30 cash back first and you will get accrued $10 cash back which can be claim again once you hit $30 cash back again. Buy another $200 of other gift cards or grocery or petrol or pay bills that accept tap and pay (you got 2x more Saturday to get the rest $200).

  • I got 4 of them at $329 for family members. Pretty good at that price but wouldn't want to pay much more than that.

  • Mediatek? Ick.

The ARM64 Mediatek CPU works well with Chromeos and gives much better Android app compatibility than an Intel CPU. I got libreoffice up and running under Linux on it with just an apt-get install libreoffice.

Excellent battery life too. Got 12 hours SOT of mixed usage with no games.

  • I got one in the black friday deal - its wonderful to use, it has usurped my previous HP14 chromebook from the Jan deal.
I actually like the Mediatek CPU, and am looking forward to their promising MT8192 and MT8195 processors they have slated for chromebooks next year.
