Have been with iiNets VDSL service in Canberra for a few years. Noticed that service kept dropping out all day for minutes at a time and sometimes the mini dropouts happened for days at a time. They’ve sent out 8 technicians and each time they can’t find a problem but they started to tell me that iiNet’s equipment needs upgrading but couldn’t tell me if and when it would be upgraded. Also told me I’m many kms away from the supernode and that doesn’t help. Finally got sick of the lack of service took the plunge and signed up to the NBN (Aussie) (node is 500m away) and the service has been awesome so far. I’ve heard bad things about NBN fttn but compared to what I had it rocks. Rant over.
